Faerytale Hour
An interactive, immersive, theatrical, and magical faerytale hour. The Elven Minstrel brings her magical suitcase filled with handmade creatures (who can talk, of course!) She tells her tales with the help of the whimsical beings in the suitcase; she sings and dances and invites the students to join in.
What if your students didn't just listen to a story, what if they were invited to create an entire world?
The Faerytale Residency brings storytelling, theatre, creative writing, visual art, making, and imaginative play into the classroom through a multi-week immersive arts experience.
Over the course of a month, students journey from idea to story, to creation, to performance.
They invent characters and magical worlds, develop their own stories, create handmade objects and visual elements, explore theatrical storytelling, and ultimately bring their collective faerytale to life.
Each residency is adapted to the age group, classroom, and goals of the school.
